Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Coast
A helicopter soaring near a crowded California shoreline unexpectedly began spiraling out of control, finally losing altitude and crashing into a cluster of palm trees as beachgoers looked on.
Footage shared on social media depict the aircraft beginning to twirl over the shoreline then falling in the direction of the edge of the beach, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a staircase close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
Emergency responders stated five people were transported to a medical facility including a pair who were in the aircraft and were âextracted safely from the crash siteâ after the incident on the weekend.
Three people on the pavement were hurt. Information on their wounds were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
