Brasserie Max's Sake Martini – Recipe

For something a little unexpected, enjoy this sophisticated cocktail. It is delicate, fragrant and easy to sip, and pairs nicely with a few chunks of parmesan.

Sake Martini

Yields one serving

30ml gin – a quality London dry gin is ideal

15ml Lillet Blanc – a light, herbal fortified wine

15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally

Measure the gin, Lillet Blanc and sake into a shaker, include a generous scoop of ice and mix for half a minute until cold. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass and serve.
