Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window

An aircraft transporting the US defense secretary was compelled to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was found in the jet's front window, per an official announcement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet landed following established safety measures and all passengers, including Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative commented in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels during the flight.

This incident isn't the first time that a American defense plane carrying a senior official has encountered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane transporting the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was forced to return to the US capital after suffering a mechanical fault.
